MINNEAPOLIS, MN—FEBRUARY 3, 2005 -- Acadian™ Agritech and BioIngenuity LLC, announced an agreement focused on bringing several new Ascophyllum-based livestock feed products to U.S. livestock producers.

Headquartered in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Acadian™ Agritech, sustainably manages and harvests Ascophyllum nodosum from the cold, clean North Atlantic coastline and converts this renewable resource into nutritional products for both human and livestock consumption. Acadian™ Agritech is preparing to launch a product line backed by more than 15 years of research data that shows feeding its products to livestock and poultry can improve several production factors resulting in better livestock producer profitability. For example, research conducted on cattle demonstrates that feeding these products can increase conception rates, reduce heat stress and improve meat quality. BioIngenuity LLC will assist Acadian™ Agritech in the further development of research and marketing programs to expand its U.S. market.

BioIngenuity LLC Chief Strategist, Dr. A. Bruce Johnson, is known throughout the world as an animal production nutritionist and technical marketing communicator. Dr. Johnson will provide the Canadian company with strategies and contacts to assist with new product development and targeted product launches.
